Atlanta, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago 2024

Fifth day of traveling; Monday, October 21, 2024 The only food I had with me was the jar of nuts; but then found out I also had biscotti from the flight to Atlanta.  Had those cookies and water.  Wanted to drive to Digicel office but instead reached General Food.  Grocery shopping from there.  Put grocery bag in the car and walked to find Digicel.  It was a public holiday and both Digicel and Flow offices were closed.  Back to the apartment.  Evening, went for a walk. Reached Devon House, and then walked back.  Later, drove to Usain Bolt's Tracks and Records Restaurant.  Had their popular curried mutton with rice.  Drove back to the apartment.

Fourth day of traveling.  Sunday, October 20, 2024 Though I got up late and the food was taken off the trays in the dining area, I still got to get my breakfast from the kitchen, thanks to a young man named Soboor. Worked in the room. Packed up and left before 1 pm [I had an extension on the check out time] Took shuttle to the airport I had tried to get the boarding pass, checking online, from the hotel room, but the system said I needed to see a Delta Airlines agent.  I guess it was because I had a one way ticket to Jamaica. At ATL stood in the long line for an agent; talked to Tiffany who sorted things out.  I thought I would have to show my other ticket, from Jamaica to Trinidad, but I did no have to.  She just asked me how I was planning to leave Jamaica.  A boarding pass was issued. Went through the security.  A dog was being used to sniff drugs.  I wanted to take a photo but a security person saw me getting my phone ready, she said no to me with ...
