I could not get this information online, before making the trip, so I thought I share my experience with the world.  Driving from Kingston to Montego Bay I took regular roads and did not pay any toll.  Coming back from Montego Bay to Kingston, I took the toll highway.  I got a toll card from a machine, one entering the highway.  Getting off the highway in Kingston, the woman at toll collection put the card in the machine and told me what I had to pay: 2350 Jamaican dollars.  I asked if I could use a credit card. No.  Euros?  No.  Only cash Jamaican dollars or US dollars.  I could pay in US dollars at the rate of 1 US dollar = 100 Jamaican dollars (terrible rate; other places I was getting 156 Jamaican dollars for one US dollar).  I paid most of the toll by Jamaican dollars I had, and the rest using cash USD.  Trip made on October 23, 2024 Tags: How much is the toll going from Kingston to Montego Bay? Drove to Monego Bay but took a regular road.  Bad driving conditions, frequent potholes.  Ate at Pier 1 restaurant in Montego Bay.  Coming back, took the toll highway; much smoother ride.

 Businesses open after the long weekend.  I was able to get a local SIM. Ate a good breakfast. In the evening, drove to Bob Marley museum.  Had to sleep early to leave for Montego Bay in the morning.
